Hello, I'm Gayle
Interior Designer & Stylist Based in Manila
If you’ve seen any of Gayle’s work, you’d know that gold anything (along with black and white) is a particular obsession, and a landmark of her luxe-meets-comfy vibe, reminiscent of her design heroes Kelly Wearstler and Kelly Hoppen.
As far as professional interior designer and stylists go, you’ve just struck gold—literally. If you’ve seen any of Gayle’s work, you’d know that gold anything (along with black and white) is a particular obsession, and a landmark of her luxe-meets-comfy vibe, reminiscent of her design heroes Kelly Wearstler and Kelly Hoppen. Gayle has worked hard to nail the delicate balance between opulence and subtlety, starting from her days as a cum laude student at DLSU-CSB and Philippine School of Interior Design, to her tenure as Managing Editor of premiere shelter magazine Condo Living, where she collaborated with such clients as Rockwell Primaries, SMDC, H&M Home, and PLDT Home.
It was also during her stint in publishing that Gayle honed her gut feel for good design, and a stomach for long hours and hard work. Armed with her innate meticulousness and solid work ethic (and fueled by good coffee, another passion), she struck out on her own in 2016, and has since styled for Belo Medical Group, Jollibee, Abby Jocson, Furniture Anthology, and Buensalido Architects.
It’s all in the details, Gayle believes, and not just in her expertly-styled vignettes. A self-professed organizer at heart, she’s not above color-coding client details and deliverables and going to town with a label maker, ensuring the business end of her art is just as polished as those perfectly-lit photos of her concepts.
Here’s what clients have to say:
Jason Buensalido, Principal Architect of Buensalido + Architects
“Gayle makes it a point to always listen first. Only when she’s understood your personality and your vision for the space will she fill it up (or choose not to) with accents, objects, decor, and furniture that seem to always result in an authentic and non-staged visual tapestry. She goes the extra mile in every project to attain the look that she promised you, which is an obvious manifestation of her love for what she does.”
“Nothing short of professional. Shoots are well organized and time efficient.”
